Jaguar has today confirmed it will introduce an all-new model to the Jaguar line-up, to go on-sale in 2016, named the Jaguar F-PACE.<\/p>\n

Also creating\u00a01,300 new jobs in the UK to build its first ever sports utility vehicle.The F-PACE will be manufactured in Solihull. Taking advantage of Land Rovers expertise and facilities.<\/p>\n

When AutoCar asked questioned Andy Goss if he was worried about a clash with Land Rover:<\/p>\n

“Not at all. The F-Pace\u2019s exterior design and its obvious reference to the F-type is one huge point of differentiation. And whereas Land Rovers are focused on off-road performance, this car is very definitely aimed at highway use. Frankly, the real surprise is that we haven\u2019t done it before.”<\/p>\n

The F- PACE will be a smilier in size and price to the Discovery Sport, So we’ll see what if any different to Disco sales the F-Pace makes.<\/p>\n

Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar, commented:\u00a0“We received such an overwhelmingly positive response to the C-X17 concept car last year that we just had to make it a reality.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The F-PACE will look very Similar to the C-X17 concept car<\/a> that was shown last year in Frankfurt. \u00a0It looks a little bit like other vehicles that come out of Solihull.<\/p>\n

The Jaguar F-PACE couples class-leading interior space and exceptional on-road dynamics with five-seat usability to produce a true performance crossover.\u00a0 It will encapsulate everything that Jaguar stands for: beautiful design, precise handling, a supple ride, luxurious interior finishes and cutting-edge technology.<\/p>\n

Speaking in Detroit, Andy Goss, Jaguar Land Rover Global Sales Director said:\u00a0“In 2015 we will celebrate Jaguar’s 80th year. We have started it by announcing our first performance crossover which we consider to be the ultimate practical sports car – a car that builds on the marque’s founding ideals of Grace, Pace and Space to become one of the most innovative Jaguars we’ve ever developed. The F-PACE has now begun its engineering and development testing programme ahead of the new model going on sale in 2016.”<\/em><\/p>\n
