Its Nearly time for our favourite show of the year, and this year we are very proud to announce our partnership with the Adventure Overland Show.
From the 24th-25th September this year Land Rovers Live will be expanding horizons by playing host to a weekend of inspiring talks and seminars from the great and the good of overlanding and adventure. Over the coming days and weeks we will announce a full schedule of activities and seminars, needless to say- you won’t want to miss it.
If you haven’t been to AO before then you are in for a treat. For our money its the friendliest and most welcoming event of the year. You’ll see something different to the other Land Rover or vehicle specific shows. There are 2 wheels, 4 wheeled and more wheeled overland exhibits, and plenty of inspiration for planning that once in a lifetime adventure.
Now in its fourth year (we have the venue for at least 10 years), the show has already developed way beyond basic travel. It is now best described as a ‘lifestyle show’ featuring everything from adventure tours in the UK to all forms of foreign travel – treks, overland tours, tailored fly-drive holidays and safaris to distant overseas destinations utilising bikes, motorcycles, 4x4s, motorhomes, campers & expedition trucks.
Tickets are available now by clicking on the link below.
To sum up, whether it be commercial trade stands, club or community forum representation, it is the intention of the ADVENTURE TRAVEL & OVERLAND SHOW to represent all aspects of adventure travel whether they are African wildlife safaris, Aussie outback tours, independent overland excursions to Morocco and the like, self-drive 4×4 or motorcycle holidays in South America, trans-globe expeditions, cycle and mountain-bike holidays worldwide, guided trekking / rafting / canoeing / kayaking / climbing / diving holidays … basically all types of outdoor adventure in whatever form they happen to be.
Add into the mix a full programme of free seminars (organised in association with Landrovers Live TV, importantly these feature professional and amateur speakers), evening entertainment in the “Severn Cider Beer Tent” (live music Fri & Sat nights), plus a raft of Display Vehicles whose knowledgeable owners are more than willing to pass on tips/advice about conversion of their campers, preparation and packing, visa documentation, border crossings, security, navigation, countries visited, etc., then you have the makings of a truly unique event that’s designed with ‘us’ in mind.
Organised by independent overland enthusiasts and Marshalled in-house by a dedicated team of non-paid volunteers, how could it be any other way.
